Great Wedding Venues on Palos Verdes Peninsula

I had 3 wedding ceremonies on Palos Verdes Peninsula this past weekend and it reminded me how many great wedding venues there are for all types of styles and budgets–from high-end formal weddings to casual low-cost weddings.

The Korean Bell of Friendship

The Korean Bell of FriendshipLocated at the end of Gaffey Street in San Pedro on the top of a scenic hill, this park has 180 degree views of the Los Angeles Harbor and the Pacific Ocean.

A large wedding with setups requires a permit but you can gather and have an informal wedding without one.

Royal Palms State BeachRoyal Palms State Beach

This tiny, tucked away beach in San Pedro is a great location for a private wedding. The beach is actually known for it’s tide pools but it has several nice patches of sand with fantastic views out to the Pacific Ocean. The far north end of the beach has a walkway lined with Royal Palms, perfect for a wedding procession! There’s plenty of metered parking at the top of the bluff or paid parking down by the beach for $8 per car.

Terranea Resort & Trump National Golf Club

It’s hard to get more exclusive and luxurious than the Terranea Resort and Trump National Golf Club. Both facilities have outstanding locations for high-end weddings overlooking the ocean. At Terranea, your guests can stay at the resort and all your needs can be taken care of right at the location.

South Coast Botanic Gardens

On the east side of Palos Verdes Peninsula, the Botanic Gardens don’t have the ocean views but the flowers and foilage offer an outstanding wedding venue! The garden has several unique areas–a cactus garden, a mediterranean setting, a traditional Japanese garden, a large rose garden, and much more!

Los Verdes Golf Course

The wedding venue is absolutely beautiful next to the reception room with views overlooking the golf course (probably one of the most beautiful public courses on the West Coast) and the Pacific Ocean beyond. One of the nicest things about Los Verdes Golf Course is that the venue faces directly west so you get the full sunset view.

Gazebo at Roessler PointGazebo at Roessler Point

The historic gazebo at Roessler Point overlooks the coastline at Malaga Cove and the South Bay cities of Torrance, Redondo Beach, Hermosa Beach, and more. It’s a great location for a small, informal wedding without setups. The Gazebo is located in Palos Verdes Estates at the northwest end of the parking lot for Malaga Cove School (Paseo Del Mar and Via Arroyo).

Please call me for more information about any of these locations for your upcoming wedding. And I welcome comments about these locations or if I left out your favorite spot on Palos Verdes Peninsula.
